Sleeping during preaching? In Troas, Paul faced another difficulty as a young man fell asleep and fell from an upper window to the ground below. He was taken up dead to the great distress of the church there, but the story was not over.

What is this man talking about? After escaping from Thessalonica and Berea, Paul came to Athens. His public conversations with the Greeks in the city led to him appearing before the council at Mars Hill. He seemed to have a new message they hadn’t heard before.
What is a good response? It has long been observed that wherever Paul preached, there was either a revival or a revolt. Paul’s preaching got a response, sometimes good and sometimes not. This passage compares the response in Berea with the response in Thessalonica.
